Chris Rice

Chris Rice is a 2010 graduate of the United States Military Academy. A former Field Artillery officer, he deployed twice to Afghanistan.  While on active duty he served at Fort Stewart, GA, Camp Casey/Hovey, South Korea, and Fort Carson, CO.  Since leaving the Army, he has worked in Vancouver, WA, and attended Georgetown University’s Security Studies Program.

He currently works as a defense and strategy consultant in Northern Virginia. When not doing consultant things, he is usually cooking Afghano-Persian-ish food for his wife, four-year-old son, and infant daughter, carrying sandbags around for no obvious reason, wargaming for fun or work, and attempting to develop his own grand unified theory of civil-military relations that he probably won’t ever share.
