Claudia was born in Germany near Bonn and Cologne and grew up there and on the Rhine River near the Dutch Border. While studying in the German University system, she met Phil and they were married in 1976. Claudia and Phil have 3 children and now reside in the Blue Ridge Mountain nears Charlottesville, Virginia.
